Privacy and analytics
How Pylonen handles website statistics and personal information.
Pylonen uses a self-hosted Umami installation to understand how the public website is used.
What we measure
We collect aggregated visitor statistics such as page views, referring websites, browser type, device type and country. We use this to understand whether the website, programme pages and practical information are useful.
What we do not use
- We do not use cookies for these statistics.
- We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking.
- We do not use session replay, heatmaps or recordings of individual visitors.
- We do not use the statistics to create advertising profiles.
Where the data is stored
The statistics are processed by Umami on Pylonen’s own server. Access is limited to people who maintain the website. We do not share the analytics data with advertising networks or external analytics providers.
Forms and administration
Website statistics are not collected in WordPress administration, on login pages or in the event-submission form. Information submitted through a form is handled only for the purpose stated by that form.
